So, when Ernie and the Berts opened for the Real McKenzies at the Altar Bar, we were approached by Jamie & Blair of AZ Productions HD to do an interview. Why wouldn’t we? I mean we are rock stars, right? I believe this is our first video interview. We had a blast! They also got some live footage, and put together some nice shots for our performance of “Toybox” during the set that night. Check it out:
We’d really appreciate it (& I’m sure they would too) if you watch it & like it on YouTube (Also add it to your Ernie and the Berts playlist if you’d like. You have one …right?), share & like it on Facebook, share & +1 it on Google+, Tweet it & Re-Tweet it, pin it, share it on tumblr, blog it… show it to your mom on your cell phone. You know, do what you do.
Check out AZ Productions HD all over the internet:
You’ll note that the video has a shout-out to Turner’s for our sweet free Tea-shirts(sported by Bert & Bert)! We’d like to thank them for the hookup! Check them out on Facebook & Twitter too! Maybe someday we’ll get the Tea-Bird (or maybe the truck) to come to a show!

If you ever get photos or video at a show, please send it our way! We’re narcissists & we feed on it. Mmm… Media.
We’ll be rockin’ the shelter with three very different solo artists on Saturday June 23rd. We’re used to being the odd men out. This time the difference will be rather obvious. There’s three of them… and three of us, but they’re all one at a time.

Hello faithful readers. I’d like to sell mad tickets for this. The Real McKenzies are right up my alley, these Goddamn Gallows cats look to be our kind of insane, & the Bloody Seamen remind of us our new bff‘s The Botched for some reason.
This is my personal plea to all of you to come out to this show & show us (Ernie and the Berts – the band, and the people) your support. We’re selling the tickets for $12 a pop in advance, and we hope to sell out quick… so get a hold of me, or get a hold of Erin [a.k.a. Ernie] at ernie@ernieandtheberts.com to score your tix.
I know it’s a Tuesday, and I know it’s not a $5 bar show… but shows like this really help us get our music/name/faces out there. Don’t you want more people to be aware of the nearly-controlled chaos that is Ernie and the Berts?
We’ll be rocking with the shockingly scandalous Steel City Slingers and whoever’s brave enough to step up to the plate! Here are the details so far, with an incredible flyer by the Slingers’ own Zach.
This weekend, we shall party with friends at one of our favorite hang-outs, The Fallout Shelter in Aliquippa PA. Aliquippa isn’t too far from our home base in the ‘Burgh, so you should come out & join us. Some are calling this a Christmas party. Some are calling this Cliffy’s birthday party. We’re calling it a damn good punk rock show.
The Fallout Shelter is a fun place to chill, get some cheap brews, some tasty food, hang out with friends, and make some new ones. It’s quite cozy.
The Atomic Drops will do exactly that… sonically drop on you with the weight of an atomic bomb. Boom! You’ll wonder what happened. You will have been rocked, that’s what.
Ernie and the Berts are always ready to show you that talent is not an obstacle to the meager success of a rock n’ roll band. We’ll show you the secret if you promise to not behave.
The Scratch n’ Sniffs will come at you like a punk rock spider monkey, and make you beg for more. With pure punk energy & style, they’ll make you tap your feet while checking to see if you still have your wallet.
Crisis in America might start a political rally, or rile us all to descend into anarchy or maybe even give us a solid plan to reform welfare. You won’t even notice the knowledge being passed to you, as you’ll be too busy being rocked out by them.
