It’s not only an ALL AGES show, it’s packed full of bands from a potpourri of musical genres, and your money is going to help pay some medical bills of a currently anonymous benefactor. Obviously we’re all about such things. This is why your attendance is not requested, my friends… it’s required.

A friend of Bert’s has set up the show, and it looks to be (the good kind of) chaos. Disgust in Disguise are a bunch of cool cats and it looks like there’s a really diverse set of musical genres happening, as well as a silent auction and some food & drink specials.
We’re asking you to come out, support a good cause, listen to some music, eat, drink, & be merry. Please don’t literally pee on anything or anyone. (This means you, Brad.)

What we have for you now my friends, is a golden opportunity to get some free Ernie and the Berts swag.
What can you win?
- Your Design on a custom T-shirt. One of the Berts will put your contest entry on to an iron-on transfer on to a T-shirt of your choosing. You can provide the shirt, or we can… if we can find the size/color you specify within reason.
- A “regular” Ernie and the Berts T-shirt with your choice of blue or purple (and size, of course).
- An Ernie and the Berts guitar pick.
- An Ernie and the Berts key-chain set. Ernie has been a Shrinky Dink madman lately. We have some key-chains of the ducky logo, a crazy unicorn logo (also by Zach), and maybe we can convince Ernie to make your contest entry into a key-chain.
- A unibrow or 2.
- We’ll maybe even be all dumb-rock-star and autograph something for you.
What do you need to do to enter?
- Click the logo above (or right-click if you’re savvy), and save the high resolution image to your hard drive.
- Color it in your favorite graphics program… MSPaint, paint.NET, GIMP, Photoshop, PhotoDraw or even with an online editor like the ones built into Photobucket or whatever.

We’ll have some info on more upcoming shows soon, as we get ready to record some of our tasty sonic chops towards the end of the month.
While we’re talking about recording, you can help us put out an album by pledging to our Kickstarter campaign. What is a kickstarter campaign? Well, it’s kind of like busking or commissioning art in the digital age. Basically, you’re pre-paying for your copy of the eventual Ernie and the Berts album. It’s like an Amazon pre-order for something that doesn’t yet exist. Your pre-orders help us to fund the creation of an album. With different levels of donations, you can get different crazy prizes… ranging from a T-shirt to a custom hand-made lyric book, or from a uni-brow & some guitar picks to dinner with the band. If you’re super crazy, you can sing on the album or get one of Ernie’s Ernie Ball bass guitars… used at live shows & most likely on the recording itself.
To help out and potentially get some sweet loot, you go to the site, pledge an amount, and don’t pay until (or unless) our goal is met.
