So, after the show where we opened for the Blasters, the sound guy from the Altar Bar handed Bert & Bert a disc with a recording of our set from that night.  We chopped it up & decided to share it with you.

World’s First Ernie and the Berts Tattoo

We believe that we can say without a doubt that this is the world’s first Ernie and the Berts tattoo.  Perhaps this will be the world’s only and or last Ernie and the Berts tattoo… but it’s still pretty badass for a duck with a bow on its’ head.

Joel Fatal of Never Outgunned Tattoos is not only the tattooee, but the tattooer.   That’s right, he did it on himself.   Joel is a longtime friend of Bert, and probably ought to be checked out by a mental health professional.  As of yet, we really only have one recorded original song, and he hasn’t seen us live.

The design itself is the work of Zach Schweitzer of Undercover Saints fame, and Schweitz Design, commissioned early on by Ernie and also featured on our stupendously awesome  punk rock T-shirts.  (Which are still available for only $12 by the way… in case you want a less permanent way to sport an Ernie and the Berts logo!)

So if you want an Ernie and the Berts tattoo, you know where to go to get it, and if you want a band logo designed, you know where to get that too.  See how many things you’ve learned today?
